When I was five years old
I picked up a nickel and thought it was a dime
I didn't have awareness
For money or time
Oh when I was five
I only got green cards never yellows or reds
Now I get B’s and C’s and oh just forget the rest
I wish I was five five five again
I wish I was five five five again
Playing Zelda on my Gameboy Advance
Singing out of tune and not caring how I dance
Rocks are dropping out of my pockets
Big rainbow pops are glued to my eye sockets
I wish I was five five five again
I wish I was five five five again
Making a lemonade stand and getting no money
Let me go back to when I thought I was kinda funny
I wish I was five five five again
I wish I was five five five again
I wish I was five
My biggest regret is not appreciating Hop Along's live show when I saw them in 2018. I liked this album when it first came out, but recent 'rediscovered' it and I can't believe I didn't make it my entire personality. I've literally brought up not Abel in Torah studies, because it's made me see Cain and Abel in a new light. I'll just rewatch old live performances on repeat and remember to not take concerts for granted <3 SS
